What do you do?

When you fly all the way to OR and the water is high, the wind is howling, and the sky is covered in clouds?

You get your ass in the water and stick a bunch of fish anyway. Day one is in the books.

Nice, you seem to be the guy I need to talk too. I have a pond close by that is full of grass carp. They are a skiddish fish and act completely different then common carp. You have any pointers on how to catch one?

Damn right you do

Totally. We anglers shouldn't even look at the sky or weather report before hopping in the car. Other than for apparel choice information of course. Enjoy your carping!

That cold front is at us now ,thanks. Good for you two though! Days to come should be better. Chasing Blue Lines, we all have trouble with grass carp, well, I do. I would go to Chris at missouriflies.com and see his selection of flies and very knowledgable discourses on grass carp. I've learned much there.
