In case anyone is in the area, stop by the Orvis store at Bridgeport Village (Portland) on Saturday 4/27. I will be doing a carp presentation at 1100...lots of pictures, flies and hopefully some good conversation. Hope to see some of you there!
Oops, sorry - I thought it would post my name in the previous comment when I signed into google. My name is Jim Thum, a recent "serious" fly fisherman but have fished for carp since I was a youngster. Finally got my first carp on a fly on the John Day last June. Can't wait to hear your presentation!
